Information for Applicant – How to Apply step by step

Everybody who wants to apply to our BSc. program Economics must fullfill the steps bellow:

Description of the whole Admission process: 

1.Apply through e-application

First of all, you should register your e-application through the Integrated Study Information System (InSIS). The E-Application you can find here.

2. Pay an Admission Fee

Applicant has to pay an Admission Fee – 50 EUR or 1300 CZK to the bank account which is mentioned in e-Application in INSIS. Please follow e-application instructions.

3.Filling in Application Form 2022/2023

On the base of an e-Application we will send to each Applicant all other instructins to finish application procedure. ECON Application form is one of the required documents. Applicant has to fill in all section in form and together with the other required documents has to send it back to us. ECON Application form 2019/20 has to be filled in, signed and sent with all the required enclosures either electronically (scanned, via e-mail) to the email address: lucie.wagnerova@vse.cz or via mail to the contact address very bellow.

4. Writting Essay

Essay on a given economics topic is a part of “Econ Application form”. Applicant chooses one of prescribed topics and write an Essay in English without any assistance from others. Applicant has to strictly avoid of any form of plagiarism. In case that any part of submitted essay is translated or copied, applicant will be excluded from the Admission process. he scope of the Essay has to be cca 1200 words.

5. Sending  all required documents to us (ECON Applicaiton form, Essay, Motivation Letter)

Applicants have to send us the whole package of  required documents : ECON Application form,

                                                                                                                           Essay (part of Application form),

                                                                                                                           Motivation Letter,

                                                                                                                           High School diploma (if already achieved it),

                                                                                                                           Copy of Passport .

This package must be sent electronically

All documents must be prepared in English.  All copies of the official documents like High School Diploma and their English translations must be notarized (certified). Aplicants’ submitted documents will be owned by the University and will not be returned.

6. Choosing of succesfull applicants

After Deadline we will choose our future students on the base of required documents. New Deadline of Application is June 30, 2020. Nevertheless, we encourage all applicants to apply within the original deadline which is April 30, 2020. Applications submitted by the end of April will be evaluated in May, applications received in May and June will be evaluated in July.

7. Sending results to Applicants

On the base of commitee decision we will send the results about admission in half of May 2022 resp. start of July 2022.

8. Payment of Tuition Fee

Accepted students must pay the Tuition Fee for the first academic year/semester no later than July 31,2022.

9. Enrollment

Enroollment will take place one week before the start of the first Semester (September 2022). More info about organisation of this Orientation week succesful applicants will get during summer.

 

Applicants will be notified of the results of admission through the program’s website and via email. Than we will send official documents via post mail as well.
