Entrance Exam
Applicants complete an entrance “exam” in long-distance form.
Requirements for acceptance (Essay, Motivation Video, CV)
The applicant has to upload the whole package of required documents:
- Essay – The essay topic is not predetermined but should relate to the focus of the study program. The requirement is to create a coherent text on a chosen topic, demonstrating the applicant’s ability to express and formulate their thoughts. The required length is two standard pages (A standard page is a strictly defined text length, and one standard page comprises 1,800 characters with spaces). Applicant has to avoid any form of plagiarism strictly. The applicant will be excluded from the Admission process if any part of the submitted essay is translated or copied. An essay is one requirement, and it has to be uploaded together with other documents into INSIS.
- Motivation Video – uploaded on Youtube (link on the video is in pdf format document, uploaded in InSIS application). In the motivation video, the applicant should present their motivation for study, qualifications, benefits and strengths. The time limit is set to a maximum of 2 minutes, and there are no restrictions in terms of creativity.
- CV – the CV must include information about previous studies, relevant work experience, and other relevant activities. The format and structure are not strictly defined. It must be submitted in PDF format.
Pointing: Based on the committee’s decision, the number of points obtained in the entrance exam can be viewed by the applicant in the VŠE Student Information System (InSIS). Applicants who have taken the entrance exam may be admitted if they have achieved at least 70 points.
Application Deadlines are February 28, 2025, April 30, 2025, June 15, 2025.
